EMUE Features and Benefits

EMUE can sign on to INVISION, SIGNATURE and MedSeries4® automatically, including CHPS parameter settings, advanced sign-on retry, and session reset.
Script execution can be made more fault-tolerant and completely hands-off.
EMUE can wait for an input file and automatically execute a script when the input file becomes available, without user intervention.  EMUE can also be scheduled using the Microsoft Windows Scheduling feature or another scheduling tool.
Processes can automatically be run, reducing the FTE management overhead and insuring that data is available in a timely fashion.
EMUE can email the appropriate personnel when a script completes either successfully, or with errors.  This means that EMUE can send information to an analyst or other users who may be waiting for the script to complete.
EMUE can be a workflow tool that keeps the appropriate personnel informed.
EMUE can work with files anywhere on the computer, anywhere on the network, or on an FTP server.
Files can be organized to best suit the needs of the organization.
EMUE can access ODBC and OLEDB data sources in place of, or in addition to an input file.
The exporting and conversion of data can be minimized and a database can be used for a “cross walk” or “lookup” table, making scripts more powerful and simplifying the workload of personnel.
EMUE can run any 3rd party application that can be run via the command line as part of a script.
Entire processes that prepare and support OLIE™ scripts can be automated by making them a part of the script itself.
EMUE contains an interactive script editor and debugger that can be used to watch a script run line-by-line to observe the script in action.  All of the script variables can be viewed and the script can be edited while debugging.
The creation, debugging, and modification of scripts becomes easy, reducing errors and programming costs while saving time.
EMUE can run existing OLIE™ Scripts with EMUEs easy to use Windows interface design.
Time and money can be saved because there is no need to modify the logic of existing scripts to use EMUEs advanced features.
EMUE can simultaneously execute up to 10 scripts on a single PC.
Costs are reduced and existing PCs are freed up for other use.
EMUE's language includes functions for manipulating strings and dates as well as comparisons.
Working with dates and strings is simple, which reduces the amount of time needed to write scripts.
EMUE is built on Microsoft’s .Net Framework, providing compatibility with all currently supported Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
Legacy systems required to support OLIE™ scripts are no longer required.
EMUE allows the use and management of multiple log (output) files.
Script results can now be programmatically separated into separate files for additional processing or for the creation of work-lists.
EMUE can interact with web pages and the terminal in the same script.
More processes can be automated in one application.
