Keyboard mnemonics are special character sequences that represent special keys on the keyboard. Keyboard mnemonics are controlled by Rumba, and they can be used in the EMUEScript SEND S command.
To simplify the use of the Rumba keyboard mnemonics EMUEScript supports the use of the mnemonics in the following table to represent the Rumba keyboard mnemonics in the SEND S command:
Any Rumba keyboard mnemonic that is not represented in the table can be sent by using the Rumba mnemonic in the SEND S command. Please reference the Rumba documentation for additional information on keyboard mnemonics.
Note: The use of the EMUEScript mnemonics and the Rumba keyboard mnemonics requires that the default keyboard mappings of Rumba remain in affect.
Non-printable characters To include non-printable characters in an output file the following character sequences are available for use in the Copy, CopyField, TELL, LOG, LogF, and PASTE commands. The character sequences will be replaced by the non-printable character that they represent when placed in the output file.
Note: The non-printable character mnemonics can be used in a string, by using two backslashes instead of one (e.g. \\f). When two consecutive backslashes are found in a string, the following characters are used to determine the non-printable character to be placed in the file.
