Syntax -

SetStartup SAA_ServerIdentifier {"IPXSPXServerName" | "IPXSPXServerNetworkAddress" | "TCPIP"}

 

Description:

This option defines the type of LAN protocol to be used for the connection to the Novell SAA server.  This option values the Server Identifier textbox on the Novell SAA tab of the EMUE Tools - Current Settings - Connection Settings dialog.

Result

IPXSPXServerName

Defines that the IPX/SPX LAN protocol is to be used and the ServerName is valued with the name of the server.

IPXSPXServerNetworkAddress

Defines that the IPX/SPX LAN protocol is to be used and the ServerName is valued with the address of the server.

TCPIP

Defines that the TCP/IP LAN protocol will be used and the ServerName is valued with the name of the server.

 

Note: This option is only valid if the SetStartup RumbaInterfaceType command is valued with “NOVELLSAA”.

 

Sample:

       The following statement instructs EMUE to use a Server Name when connecting to the a Novell SAA Server using the IPX/SPX protocol.
