What is EMUE?

EMUE is a software automation platform that automates terminal, web, web service and Microsoft Windows® tasks to reduce manual data entry. EMUE automates processes typically by reading from a database or an input file, and then uses the instructions in an EMUEScript file to parse the data and execute a series of commands against the application being automated. EMUE can also record information, exceptions, and errors into one or more output files for future review or processing. EMUEScript is a script language developed by the Licensor and is similar to other scripting languages commonly in use to automate mainframe, AS400, web tasks and Windows tasks.

Typical uses of EMUE include retrieving and/or updating data in an application, retrieving information from one application and using that data to update related records in another application (synchronize multiple systems); and automating repetitive user tasks. Tasks that can be defined in logical steps can normally be scripted using EMUE.

In addition to the language enhancements, EMUE provides many new features that will be very helpful to most users (See EMUE Features and Benefits).
